Stupid
I made Zach walk me to the C-store (gas station by our house) last night to get ice cream. As we were walking home, a group of middle school kids were walking opposite us. Right before we passed, one of the girls raised her hand to waive and shouted, "HELLO!"...to which I did the very same. Zach just looked at me. After they passed, I said to him, "Don't try to "act" all cute and stupid.....I'll SHOW you stupid!!!"....Zach said, "Yea, I know!"

And I think middle schoolers appreciate the fact that you get their humor and play along. Did you shout out, "Thanks for playing!"??? I never thought I would want to teach middle school, but I really have a good time with that age. : )
