About a week ago, Bode asked me if I would make him eggnog. He loves the stuff. I checked, and sure enough, I had all of the ingredients on hand. Things were going good until I opened the sweetened condensed milk! OHMYGOSH! Even in the dark (only under-cabinet lights on), I could tell that it wasn’t the right color! I checked the bottom of the can and sure enough….September of 2009! WOW! This was a first for me…I never have expired things in my pantry! So…..the next best thing to eggnog (or the best I could come up with at the time) was homemade hot chocolate! I have only had homemade hot chocolate one time, and I have never made it. TOTALLY. WORTH. IT!
