Tate loves football, and his favorite college team is the Texas Longhorns. He watched all of the Texas games that we got here in North Carolina, and he was very excited about the Championship game. Texas fans are the minority at Bitz Intermediate School, and everyone gave him a hard time when he would wear anything TEXAS to school. One of the Youth Sports guys (who is in charge of the gym Bode practices in) is a BIG Alabama fan, and had been picking on Tate for a long time! Last Monday he asked him how much money Tate had, and asked Tate if he wanted to bet $1.00 on the game. Tate was pumped about the bet, and they shook on it. The guy told Tate that he wanted his $1.00 to be a new one, nice and crisp. Tate laughed. So tonight is the night Tate has to pay up. He is taking 100 pennies in a Zip-loc bag that says “ROLL THIS” !!! (Alabama says ROLL TIDE like TEXAS says HOOK ‘EM HORNS—for anyone who doesn’t keep up with College sports!)
